The mission of The President Theatre Community Art Center is to support and promote the cultural and economic growth in Meriwether County, Georgia by preserving the historic President Theatre and providing cultural and educational programming to the community. We will partner with other organizations to acheive these goals.

The President Theatre Community Arts Center has begun the process of being restored to it's entertaining glory.

The theatre was originally operated from the 1930's through the early 1980's . 

Operated as a Martin Theatre, The President was one of over 100 theatres Roy E. Martin Sr. of Columbus, Georgia, opened in the 30's and 40's.
